I am a licensed Classical Five-Element Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist and a certified Yoga Instructor.
I received my Massage license through Ashmead college in Seattle, WA twenty-five years ago and have continued to incorporate multiple modalities throughout my tenure, becoming a master in the field of Bodywork & Energetics.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Naropa University in Contemplative Psychology where I assisted in teaching Buddhist Psychology, and the Psychology of the Five Elements. I honor these lineages and share this experiential wisdom in my practice.
I received my Master’s degree in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education & Acupuncture (ITEA) in Louisville, CO where I continue to mentor current students.
I am licensed in the states of Alaska, Colorado and Washington state, and I am a Board Certified Diplomat by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
My passion for this work is rooted in my lifelong connection to Nature. Growing up in Alaska, I learned early on that the natural world mirrors our inner landscapes, offering guidance, stability and perspective. The relationship with the elements became the foundation for my healing philosophy.
My first encounter with the Five Elements came through a life-changing course at Naropa, where I felt, for the first time, a worldview that placed Nature at the center of human experience. I then had my first treatment. That initial session marked a profound turning point. I experienced a deep shift – what I now recognize as the law of cure – and over several treatments, long-held patterns of fear, anxiety and panic began to dissolve.
Through that process, I discovered a sense of internal resilience and clarity of purpose. Within a year, I enrolled at ITEA, stepping further down the healing path that continues to inspire me today.
I practice Five-Element medicine because it changed my life, and continues to transform the lives of those I serve. Every client who comes to my table seeks change – whether physical, emotional, mental or Spiritual. This medicine invites a profound level of personal engagement: a willingness to be present, to reflect without judgement and to listen deeply to one’s own heart.
I love this work because it honors the whole person. It meets you exactly where you are and offers a path towards balance, authenticity and inner harmony.
My commitment to you – my intention – is to create a grounded, compassionate and sacred space where you feel truly seen, heard and honored. Whether we are working with acupuncture, bodywork, movement, meditation & breathwork, sacred practices, or personal development; my goal is to build a meaningful, ongoing relationship that supports your evolution at every step.

Be among the first to hear about special offers and current happenings in the Elemental Therapy community.
We will begin with a Traditional Diagnosis, a physical health review and then Acupuncture. This visit is 2.5 – 3 hours in length. This intake includes personal, medical and family history, lifestyle and anything else that you feel relevant for our time together.
Your treatment will include the use of thin needles – about the size of a strand of hair. Moxa (the herb Artemesia Vulgaris) is also placed on the points to warm the area, and bring the energy of the point closer to the surface prior to needling.
Specifically for this first visit, be sure to have some food in the belly, little or no make-up on the face, and no added scents on the body. This allows me to get a clear picture for treating you, moving forward.
Please bring in the completed initial intake form that was sent to you when your appointment was scheduled.
I look forward to our time together.
These sessions are 45-75 minutes. We will start with an initial check-in, then taking your pulses to plan your treatment. Depending on your constitution, Moxa will be used on many points. These treatments will address physical, mental, emotional & spiritual levels of imbalance, or distress. The intention with these treatments is to assist bringing your body, mind & spirit into better harmony & balance.
This lineage is known for being very specific about point location. We will map and mark out the points, prior to needling. For most treatments, the needles will be inserted to make connection with the Qi (energy), rotated and immediately removed. The sensation of the connection to the Qi can be felt as discomfort, a deep ache, a prickling feeling, or a small nervy sensation; and typically lasts no longer than a second, or two.
I stay in the room with you at all times during your treatment, so you will never be left alone and the time that you are in session is dedicated solely to you.
